Core features
Turn your favourite family photo, or several individual family photos, into a custom watercolour rugby family portrait. This close-up illustrated artwork is designed for rugby-loving families and makes a heartfelt South African gift for mums, dads, grandparents and proud supporters. If not everyone is already dressed for match day, we can illustrate your family in coordinated Springbok supporter outfits inspired by classic green and gold fan style.
What do I receive when I order this custom watercolour illustration?
Your Fine Lines artworks are carefully prepared for beautiful display and gifting. Depending on your selection, you will receive either a high-resolution digital file, a museum-quality art print, a professionally framed print, or a premium canvas print. Each format is created to preserve the soft detail and colour richness of your watercolour portrait.
Sizing, orientation & framing options
Our digital artwork can be printed from A5 up to A0 without quality loss. Framed prints are available up to A2, with larger frame sizes offered on request. You may choose portrait, landscape, or square orientation depending on your family composition and display space. To help you choose the right size, please view our Size Guide.
Can I customize my rugby family portrait?
Yes. You may combine multiple photos into one artwork, include family members, children, grandparents, or pets, add custom wording, or request a specific background colour or layout. Most importantly, if some family members are not wearing rugby clothing, we can illustrate them in matching Springbok supporter inspired outfits so the final portrait feels beautifully unified and full of team spirit.
Can you help me choose the best photos?
Absolutely. Our customizer allows you to upload multiple image options. If you are unsure which photos will work best, or if you want to combine separate photos of different family members into one portrait, simply upload your options and send us a note. We will help you choose the best combination for a natural and flattering final illustration.
Production time, delivery & ordering confidence

Proudly personal gifting

Why our rugby family portraits are different…

These are not generic sports posters. Each portrait is individually illustrated from your family photos with attention to expression, proportion, colour, and connection. The result is a heartfelt artwork that feels joyful, polished, and full of personality.

The rugby theme adds something special, making this an ideal gift for families who love cheering together, hosting match days, or celebrating South African rugby culture at home.

For the moments that deserve more than a photo.

A thoughtful gift for every kind of family story.

• Mother’s Day and Father’s Day
• Grandparents and multi-generation families
• Birthdays, anniversaries and weddings
• New baby and housewarming gifts
• Family portraits with pets
• Memorial and remembrance pieces

Bring everyone together, even from separate photos

What you will receive

One of the biggest advantages of this product is flexibility. You do not need one perfect group photo. You can send individual images of parents, children, grandparents, siblings, or even pets, and we can combine them into one beautiful illustration.

This is especially helpful for busy families, long-distance relatives, blended families, or anyone wanting a polished portrait without needing everyone in the same picture at the same time.

A thoughtful rugby gift idea

Created for rugby-loving homes and special occasions

This portrait makes a memorable gift for the rugby dad who never misses a game, the proud rugby mum, the grandparents who love family keepsakes, or the family who gathers around every big match.

It also works beautifully as nursery or playroom art for little supporters, a keepsake after a special rugby season, or a cheerful statement piece in a family room, braai area, or hallway.

From digital file to display-ready artwork

Choose the format that suits your home or gifting plans best. Our digital files are perfect if you want to print locally or use the artwork more than once. Our museum-quality prints, professionally framed prints, and premium canvas options are ideal if you want a ready-to-gift or ready-to-hang keepsake.

Every order is created with care to honour both your family and the spirit of the game you love. The final result is a charming and personal piece of wall art that celebrates connection, pride, and shared memories.
